Robert Punchur (Neat Guy) is a Model Comedian. This not only means that he is really, really, ridiculously good-looking ; but also exemplary. Unpredictably clever onstage, Robert blends poignancy with quirkiness and silly quick-witted improv. Offstage, Punchur is committed to community support, care, and cheekbones.
Robert Punchur has appeared on MTV and TruTV. He hasn't been on WWE yet, because apparently The Rock is too busy to respond to his challenges. Till then, you can catch Punchy performing on nightly comedy shows at top NYC venues including Standup NY, Broadway, Greenwich Village, and West Side Comedy Clubs.
He has hosted movie premiers for Warner Brothers and Trivial Dispute amongst various other events.
As a model, he's worked with Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and Lululemon.
Robert Punchur cofounded Very Good Comedy Show in 2017 with minister turned comedian Aric Grooms.
VGCS was created to combat a "bringer" model where producers require performers to provide audience in exchange for stage time, but no pay.
VGCS is dedicated to creating quality shows for artists and audience alike. It has grown to include monthly charity performances, regular tours, album and documentary recordings.
Robert Punchur works full-time as an autism support counselor in a group home for developmentally disabled adults. He is currently enrolled in the CUNY school system for Social Work.
Mental Health awareness & acceptance are passion causes for Robert, who is open about his own personal struggles and strategies over the years.
He will happily discuss this on many podcasts and hopes to advance his work as an advocate. Check out his spoken word poem for Project UROK.
"Robert is one of the first people I met doing comedy and that was one of my greatest blessings! I've been fortunate to work with Robert on several projects over the years and can say that his amazing talent is only rivaled by his work ethic, professionalism, and love for the comedy community."
"He's a twisted little F*$k! But also my hero. And one of the kindest, hardest-working, and funniest people I know."
"Robert Punchur is one of the truest friends and artists I've been fortunate enough to meet. I'd recommend him to host any show or event. Also to marry my sister."
